Wheat, barley, fig, olive, palm, pomegranate and grapevine relate symbolically to the seven blessings extolled over the bride at the wedding ceremony. They also symbolize the blessings of growth, fruitfulness and a connection to the important qualities of life. Only hand-printing in eighteen colors could achieve blues as vibrant as these.
