With the English text wrapping around the central Aramaic and Hebrew, this unusual
ketubah is evocative of a page of Talmud. Gold foil stamping glitters on the initial capitals and the
flower centers, which are illuminated much the same way as the medieval manuscripts that influenced
their design. Phrases from the Song of Songs, in exquisitely detailed red filigree, balance the
composition of the ketubah. At the top: "You have captured my heart, my sister, my bride."
At the bottom: "This is my beloved, this is my friend."
